The act included the mandatory licensing to carry a weapon, but contained exclusions for some groups and persons. In 1959, Arms Act was passed with new strict rules. The Royal Titles Act 1876 was an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which officially recognized Queen Victoria (and subsequent monarchs) as “Empress of India”. The Indian High Courts Act of 1861 was an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom to authorize the Crown to create High Courts in the Indian colony.
