This scheme was launched on 23rd September, 2018 in Ranchi, while Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY) is a Pension Scheme announced by the Government of India exclusively for the senior citizens aged 60 years and above which was available from 4th May, 2017 to 31st March, 2020. The scheme is now extended up to 31st March, 2023 for a further period of three years beyond 31st March, 2020.according to economic times and PIB, The PMRPY Scheme aims to incentivise employers for employment generation by the Government paying the full employers' EPS contribution of 12%, for the new employees, for the first three years of their employment and is proposed to be made applicable for unemployed persons that are semi-skilled and unskilled. The scheme is being implemented by the Ministry of Labour and Employment and is operational since August, 2016 (declared in 2015) and Swacchh Bharat was the first flagship scheme of Modi govt. launched on 2nd Oct 2014.
