Interim Budget is government budget that goes through transition period which is very popular in democracies where single political party is voted out and another political party is voted in office. This Budget is a temporary budget which helps spanning of transition time among two governments in order to continue functioning. Both vote-on-account and the interim budget are taken by caretaker government since these are improper for outgoing government to impose on successor changes which may or may not be acceptable to new government.
