Correct Answer: 1, 2 and 3. On 1 st January, 1996, Government of India passed Persons with Disabilities Act 1995 which covers disability related to blindness, low vision, leprosy-cured, hearing impairment, loco-motor, mental retardation and mental illness among children below 18 yrs which explains that such children should receive free education through regular schooling along with grant and scholarships. The Disabilities Act 1995 also provides certain specific land for such disabilities for setting up business. Statement 1 is correct as National Policy Statement for Persons with Disabilities ensures free schooling for children till 18 in government schools. Both statements 2 and 3 are correct as preferential allotment of land for setting up business and ramping in public buildings are covered under Disabilities Act 1995.
