Statement 1 &ldquo;consists of not more than 25 Members of the Lok Sabha &ldquo; is incorrect as Parliamentary Committee on Public Accounts has maximum of 22 members out of which 15 are from Lok Sabha and 7 from Rajya Sabha. Statement 2 &ldquo;scrutinizes appropriation and finance accounts of the Government &ldquo; is correct as committee scrutinizes appropriation accounts of various Ministries as Railways, Defence, P&T and other Civil Ministries. Statement 3 &ldquo;examines the report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India &ldquo; is also correct as Public Accounts Committee examines report of Accounts of union government submitted by Comptroller and Auditor General of India to President. Statements 2 and 3 are correct so the option B is correct.
