Correct Answer: 1 only. Only statement 1 is correct. The ‘Iqta’ system of the Delhi Sultanate was not ancient indigenous system but was adopted from Central Asian or West Asian administration. Iqta’s were a sort of administrative regional unit like a province and its heads were known as ‘Iqtadars’. Amil were officers deputed to collect revenue whereas Mir Bakshi (an old office), was in-charge of military administration.
